The Professional Side

Dr. David Shim is a dedicated general dentist committed to providing conservative, patient-centered dental care that helps patients preserve their natural teeth for as long as possible. With over nine years of experience, he believes in taking a preventative, minimally invasive approach to dentistry, avoiding overtreatment while delivering high-quality care that patients can trust.

Dr. Shim earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine and completed his General Practice residency at Montefiore Medical Center in New York, where he gained advanced experience in comprehensive dental care, including restorative dentistry, endodontics and implant dentistry. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of California, Irvine, graduating magna cum laude with a degree in Biology.

The Personal Side

Beyond the office, Dr. Shim believes in using his skills to serve others and has participated in dental mission trips to provide care to underserved communities. He also enjoys spending time with family, exploring local coffee shops and staying active outdoors.
